How many porta potties does a Camp Jordan tournament need?
Camp Jordan Park in East Ridge hosts all-day baseball, softball and soccer tournaments. Players, families and coaches often stay 8 hours or more, so plan 1 standard unit for every 25 people at the busiest time. Add at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit near each cluster of fields.
The park has its own restrooms, but big tournament weekends can still need extra units near the far fields. The organizer should clear placement with the City of East Ridge first. Our sizing guide shows the full chart.
Official source: 2010 ADA Standards, section 213.2 (U.S. Access Board).
Which East Ridge lots flood, and where should the unit go?
South Chickamauga Creek runs through East Ridge, and low ground near the creek and Camp Jordan can flood after heavy rain. The area gets about 52 inches of rain a year. Set the unit on the highest firm spot, on pavement or gravel, so the service truck can still reach it.
Do I need a permit for a porta potty in East Ridge?
A porta potty on your own lot in East Ridge, ZIP 37412, usually needs no permit. A unit on a city street, sidewalk or in a city park is different, so check with East Ridge City Hall first. East Ridge is its own city, so Chattanooga permits do not cover sites here.

Does traffic at the I-75 and I-24 split slow East Ridge deliveries?
Traffic at the I-75 and I-24 interchange in East Ridge backs up at rush hour, so delivery times can shift by 15 minutes or so. Our driver calls about 30 minutes before arrival, so you know when the truck is close. Job sites can ask for a 2-hour delivery window.
East Ridge porta potty questions
Can a porta potty sit on an East Ridge driveway during a remodel?
A driveway is often the best spot in East Ridge, since many lots are small. The pavement keeps the unit level and dry. Leave room to park beside the unit, and point the door away from the street if you like.
Will you move my East Ridge unit if the creek starts rising?
Call us as soon as flood warnings go out. We move or secure units when the truck can reach them safely. A unit that tips or floods is usually replaced the same day once the water drops.
Who should order extra units for a Camp Jordan event?
The tournament organizer usually orders units, since they hold the park booking with the city. Give us the field numbers and the gate to use. We drop Friday and pick up Monday after the last game.
How soon does an East Ridge delivery arrive after I call?
An order placed by noon on a weekday usually arrives that afternoon. Our routes run until 5 PM. After noon, the unit goes out the next morning.
